About these counts: “Departments listed” counts every agency in the statewide directory; “active” counts agencies currently operating as independent organizations — directory coverage, not platform adoption. For each apparatus class and each public overhead list, the first number is the count currently marked available and the number after the slash (“/ total”) is every public-eligible resource in that category and scope — available, staffing-limited, out of service, mobilizing, assigned, and deployed; test and pending records are never counted. “Deployed” counts resources currently committed to an active assignment and is already included in the total. A missing status never counts as available. Overhead entries show the fire department, never a personal name.
