These Terms of Service govern access to and use of NOMAD RECON™, including the website, platform, dashboards, maps, notifications, forms, communication tools, and related services.

By accessing or using NOMAD RECON, you agree to these Terms.

Purpose of the Platform

NOMAD RECON is a resource coordination, availability tracking, notification, mapping, assignment support, and situational awareness platform for wildland and all-hazards mobilization.

NOMAD RECON is intended to support coordination among authorized users, departments, agencies, counties, regions, organizations, and other approved participants.

Not an Emergency Service or Official Dispatch Replacement

NOMAD RECON is not a replacement for:

  • 911
  • Public safety answering points
  • Official dispatch centers
  • CAD systems
  • Radio communications
  • Agency command procedures
  • Incident command systems
  • Evacuation notices
  • Emergency alert systems
  • Official resource ordering systems
  • Mutual aid agreements
  • Department or agency policies

Users must continue to follow all official department, agency, dispatch, incident command, emergency management, legal, and operational procedures.

NOMAD RECON does not guarantee that any alert, message, map, status update, assignment update, or notification will be accurate, complete, timely, delivered, or available.

Authorized Use

You may use NOMAD RECON only if you are authorized by NOMAD RECON LLC or by an approved customer, department, agency, county, region, organization, or administrator.

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Enter unauthorized incident, resource, personnel, or assignment data
  • Misrepresent your role, qualifications, department, agency, or authority
  • Share your login credentials
  • Access data you are not authorized to view
  • Interfere with platform operation
  • Attempt to bypass security or permission controls
  • Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or unauthorized purposes
  • Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse platform content, workflows, software, or data

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate account information
  • Protecting login credentials
  • Updating availability and resource status accurately
  • Following agency and incident command procedures
  • Confirming critical information through official channels
  • Reporting suspected errors, unauthorized access, or security concerns

Customer and Administrator Responsibilities

Customers, departments, agencies, counties, regions, organizations, and administrators are responsible for:

  • Approving authorized users
  • Assigning appropriate permission levels
  • Maintaining accurate user and resource data
  • Removing users who no longer require access
  • Ensuring data entered into the platform is authorized and appropriate
  • Establishing internal procedures for how NOMAD RECON is used
  • Training users on proper use of the platform

Platform Availability

NOMAD RECON may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, or limited due to maintenance, internet outages, software issues, vendor outages, wireless carrier issues, system failures, cyber incidents, force majeure events, or other causes.

NOMAD RECON LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Notifications and Messaging

NOMAD RECON delivers notifications through in-app alerts, opt-in push notifications, and email. SMS text messaging is retired and is not a delivery channel for platform notifications.

Notifications may be delayed, blocked, undelivered, or unavailable. Users should not rely on NOMAD RECON as the sole method of receiving operational, emergency, dispatch, assignment, or life-safety information.

Data and Content

Customers and users may submit data, messages, forms, files, notes, incident information, resource information, availability status, assignment information, and other content into NOMAD RECON.

Customers and users are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and authorization of the content they submit.

NOMAD RECON LLC may use submitted data to operate, maintain, secure, improve, and support the platform.

Ownership of NOMAD RECON

NOMAD RECON LLC owns the NOMAD RECON platform, website, software, workflows, design, layout, branding, logos, templates, documentation, forms, processes, and related intellectual property.

No user, customer, department, agency, or organization receives ownership rights in the NOMAD RECON platform by using it, testing it, submitting feedback, or suggesting improvements.

Feedback

If users or customers provide suggestions, ideas, improvements, comments, or feedback, NOMAD RECON LLC may use that feedback without restriction or compensation.

Disclaimers

NOMAD RECON is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. NOMAD RECON LLC makes no guarantees that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific operational purpose.

NOMAD RECON LLC does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, delivery, completeness, or availability of maps, alerts, notifications, assignments, availability status, incident information, resource information, or user-submitted data.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOMAD RECON LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, operational delays, missed notifications, failed communications, or reliance on inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, or unavailable information.

Suspension or Termination

NOMAD RECON LLC may suspend or terminate access to the platform if a user or customer violates these Terms, misuses the platform, creates security concerns, fails to pay required fees, or creates legal, operational, or reputational risk.

Changes to These Terms

NOMAD RECON LLC may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
